1. Opt for sustainable wedding clothing, the actress opted for a Benarasi Saree for her bridal look.

2. Choose a venue which is dear to your heart and has something attached to it, preferably outdoors, close to nature.

3. Make sure to use local flowers and vendors to reduce the carbon footprint, dismiss the use of plastic as much as possible and have plated foods to limit the wastage.

4. Reuse the decorative elements from each ceremony. The flowers used for decoration can be used again the next day as a rangoli.

5. You can opt for an intimate wedding for a more carefree and enjoyable experience.

6. Make sure to send out e-invites or use plantable biodegradable eco-paper or saplings as a token of your appreciation.
